Laphroaig - Single Islay Malt Whisky - Aged 10 years - 43% vol

The nose on the 10 year old gave connotations of something really strong and peaty, to the point of wondering whether we would enjoy the taste. After the first sip, there was wonderment all round. There was a seaweedy, medicinal taste, a kind of iodine and doctors surgery type aroma, but the taste was abolutely phenomenal. Everyone loved it.
