I think
this whisky was over-rated by the tasting group (Comment:Alex).
It had a powerful nose on it, but even a dash of mineral water
did nothing to improve on the taste of it. With saying that,
however, it still seems to have scored relatively high. As it was
St Patricks day, the evening was interrupted with a glass of
Bushmills (Irish Malt) which I personally enjoyed more than the
Aberlour. Stuart (Robs guest) was introduced to the society, and
blended in quite well. Altogether, another good evening was had.
